CHBA CEO Speaks to Senate Committee About Low-Carbon Economy

Earlier this month,  CHBA CEO Kevin Lee testified before the Standing Senate Committee on Energy, the Environment and Natural Resources as part of its study on the effects of transitioning to a low carbon economy. 
 
Kevin's remarks focused on ensuring that improving energy efficiency and addressing climate change doesn't come at the cost of reduced housing affordability. 
Ontario Building Partnership to Boost Consumer Confidence 


The Ontario Building Officials Association, Tarion Warranty Corporation, and EnerQuality's parent organization the Ontario Home Builders' Association have announced they will be forming the Ontario Building Partnership.

The agreement aims to increase consumer protection for new home buyers, improve industry standards and achieve greater consistency in education and application of standards in Ontario's home building industry.

CCR wins Environmental Stewardship Award

London's CCR Building & Remodeling won the EnerQuality Environmental Stewardship Award at the LHBA Awards of Excellence on October 12, 2017.

CCR won for their sustained commitment to incorporating environmental best practices into all their work. 

EnerQuality and ENERGY STAR builders Sifton Properties also took home four trophies.

Interested in attending an expo and tradeshow, but have no time to take away from the office?

November 1st, the  Green Building Expo is taking place in a virtual environment. This show will be held in cyberspace - tour the trade shows and interact with exhibitors online - and the content will be available online for six months.

EnerQuality joins the Toronto and Region Conservation Authority, Canadian Wood Council and others as sponsors and partners for the event.
