BTG Open House - September 29th
This year's BTG Open House will be on Friday, September 29, 2017 at 7 p.m. at
the playhouse (Pinnacle Playhouse, 256 Pinnacle Street). All are invited.

The Open House provides an opportunity to:
  • learn more about the 2017-2018 productions from the directors and other production people,
  • meet the many types of people involved in the theatre and what they do (and determine that, contrary to a commonly held belief, we are not all completely crazy)
  • find out the many ways in which you can contribute-- it isn't just acting you know.
  • renew your membership or season ticket subscriptions if you have not already done so.

We hope to see you there.

"Our Town" October 12 - 28, 2017
Preview: October 10
Directed by Ian Feltham

The director and enthusiastic cast of "Our Town" continue to work hard to prepare for BTG's first production of the season.

Synopsis:
"Children are born, they grow up, fall in love, have families, grow old, and then die. This is a true, if simplified, arc of a human life. Wilder’s play gently opens the scrapbook of several lives in small-town New Hampshire at the beginning of the 20th century. He weaves their joys and sorrows into a magical and unforgettable tale of all humanity, a tale for which he won the Pulitzer Prize for Drama in 1938. Every theatre has staged it, but it never loses its power. Time to go back to Grover’s Corners."
And by the way, it's still not too late to get your BTG seasons tickets.
Suddenly 'Seymour' Snags Scholarship
Yes, it's true. GianPaolo Lattanzio, "Seymour" from BTG's June production of Little Shop of Horrors, has been recognized by the Eastern Ontario Drama League, and is 2017 recipient of the Patricia Beharriell Scholarship

GianPaolo will be presented with this award on opening night of the EODL One Act Festival taking place Friday November 3.

In case you don't remember GianPaolo, he is pictured here in the center among some of the other cast members....

And speaking of the EODL One Act Play festival, BTG's entry for this year is Peter Paylor's "The Green Thumb Gang". Congratulations to the playwrite, director, cast and crew.
