Open House and Alumni Legacy Brunch

When: November 12 beginning at 10:15am
Where: St. Francis DeSales High School Franciscan Center

Faith, Family and Tradition We have all heard the words spoken many times. Our extended school community is built on these tenants and the greatness of our graduates is rooted in this core belief. The names and faces of our students may change over time but the St. Francis DeSales High School commitment to Empowering Students for Life is steadfast.

As we prepare for Open House this coming Sunday, November 12, we invite alumni to bring your family to a small gathering of alumni and students prior to this annual event. As our special guest, we would like to welcome you back and introduce your future Stallion to the unique and exciting opportunities that await them.

We look forward to sharing the great changes that have happened and the exciting future of what's still to come. All the while, still holding true to the values of our history. Faith, Family and Tradition - Empowering Students for Life!

Please RSVP by Friday, November 10, 2017 at www.sfdstallions.org/open-house.
Veterans Day Celebration at SFD

All those who are currently serving or have served our country are welcome to join us on Friday, November 10 as we start the day with prayer, our National Anthem, and planting of flags in our field of heroes. Please arrive at 7:30am in the school's Franciscan Center.
Remembering Our Loved Ones

Our All-School All Saints Day Mass was a beautiful way to celebrate our loved ones who have gone before us and lift them up in prayer. St. Francis DeSales would like to extend that tradition by lifting up those loved ones our school community has lost during the entire month of November.

If you are a parent, student, or alumnus and you would like for us to offer up the name of family or friends who have died, please submit the name(s) throughout this month to  campusministry@desales.co .

We will print those names and have them collected in a basket to be displayed in the chapel. We will continually hold in prayer these souls during all liturgical events in November.

We live as a community, grieve as a community, worship as a community, and this is a great time to remember as a school community those who have gone before us.

Have a blessed day,
SFD Campus Ministry Office

Our annual Holiday Give begins on Tuesday, November 28, on what is now known as, #GivingTuesday.  What is #GivingTuesday?  It is a national movement during the holidays dedicated to charitable giving, similar to how Black Friday and Cyber Monday have become days that are synonymous with holiday shopping.  Please consider St. Francis DeSales as one of your charitable gifts during the holidays.

Daily Reflection

Lord Jesus, In a world that values getting ahead, may I willingly follow You; In a world where people are given numbers, may I give thanks that You know me by name; In a world of uncertainty, may I trust that You are Truth; In a world where news is filled with violence, may more people believe that You came to make things new; In a world filled with opportunism, may I seek opportunities to serve; In a world where people face hardship, may I see Your face in everyone I meet. Amen.
