Open House at Woodlands Nature Station to Learn about Hematite Trail
Golden Pond, KY
Land Between The Lakes National Recreation Area will host an Open House on Saturday, Nov. 14, from 1 to 3 pm to update interested members of the public on the progress to repair their popular Hematite Trail. Forest Service staff will be available at information tables at the Woodlands Nature Station picnic pavilion. In case of bad weather, the Open House will move inside to the Woodlands Nature Station's theater.

But when she disappears, her replacement is the hard-as-nails, detention-loving, recess-cancelling, homework-overloading substitute teacher Viola Swamp! Will the kids of Room 207 manage to solve the mystery of her disappearance and bring Miss Nelson back?
There are also daytime School Matinee performances of MISS NELSON IS MISSING on November 19, 20 and 23. Those show times are at 9:15 and 11:30. Tickets for school matinees are $5 each and can be reserved by phoning our Box Office (no internet sales for school matinees).

Fun Run begins at 5:30 pm. $10.00 per person (includes long-sleeve shirt)
5K begins at 6:15 p.m. & is $25.00 per person.
Participants get to run through the park as it is lighted up with Christmas lights! This is the first time the lights will be lit, and OUR RUNNERS have the first look, up close & personal!
After the runs complete beginning at 7:00 P.M. the park will be open for ALL kinds of fun!
For $10.00 per person (adults are free unless partaking in the activities/treats) each child will receive an ALL ACCESS PASS TO:
Minion Party - fun, games, and parents may take pictures - at the main pavilion.
