Immigration Welcome Center and Indianapolis Wesley UMC
 
On Saturday, March 4, Wesley UMC and the Immigrant Welcome Center successfully teamed up for the IWC's 4th successful giveaway for immigrant and refugee families. 

A record 424 people received donated clothing, household items, and toiletries!

Conversation on Immigration 

On Sunday, March 12, over 100 people gathered to hear facilitator Angela Adams, an immigration attorney and St. Luke's UMC member, speak on immigration reform and the sanctuary movement.

Families shared their appreciation to the faith community supporting the issues around immigration, and shared some of the fears and struggles they have experienced since coming to the United States.

Mt. Auburn Lenten Breakfast Raises $300 for Metro Ministries Youth Grants
On Saturday, March 11, at Mt. Auburn UMC, Metro Ministries Executive Director Lisa Morris shared the many ways that Metro Ministries connects resources to ministries within Central Indiana churches.

There were 42 persons in attendance and almost all of the churches in Johnson County were represented at this Lenten Breakfast, hosted by Mt. Auburn United Methodist Men.

The offering for youth ministry grants totaled $297!
