What season are you living in?
Being present in the here and now will bring you the most inner peace and happiness. There are lessons we are learning right now in the season we are in that will prepare us for our future seasons. If we are not 'present' now, in THIS season, we may miss those vital lessons and tools that will equip us for the future season. It's a wonderful thing to have wishes, dreams and anticipation and manifest your success as if it were; however, don't live in two, three, or five seasons ahead of you. Stay PRESENT in this season and LIVE it, EMBRACE it, BREATHE it, LOVE it ... to the fullest.
Do you remember this song? Enjoy! Play the video below and sing along, out loud, with gusto!
"Turn! Turn! Turn!"
To everything - turn, turn, turn
There is a season - turn, turn, turn
And a time to every purpose under heaven
A time to be born, a time to die
A time to plant, a time to reap
A time to kill, a time to heal
A time to laugh, a time to weep
To everything - turn, turn, turn
There is a season - turn, turn, turn
And a time to every purpose under heaven
A time to build up, a time to break down
A time to dance, a time to mourn
A time to cast away stones
A time to gather stones together
To everything - turn, turn, turn
There is a season - turn, turn, turn
And a time to every purpose under heaven
A time of love, a time of hate
A time of war, a time of peace
A time you may embrace
A time to refrain from embracing
To everything - turn, turn, turn
There is a season - turn, turn, turn
And a time to every purpose under heaven
A time to gain, a time to lose
A time to rend, a time to sew
A time for love, a time for hate
A time for peace, I swear it's not too late!

According To Psychologists, Coloring Is The Best Alternative To Meditation
"As of the time of this publication, six of the top 20 selling books on Amazon are adult coloring books. Coloring is a hobby that we typically think only little toddlers and kindergartners would enjoy, but it turns out that even adults can benefit from it."
Coloring is something women discuss when participating in my
Happy Women Mastermind Group and how it reduces stress, strengthens focus and connection with others, and induces happiness.

My Favorite Trick to Beat Negativity
"Gratitude" has become a bit of a modern-day buzzword, hasn't it! And I think that's with very good reason.
Our brains can quite quickly fall into what's called a 'virtuous cycle', where one grateful thought leads to another and to another-each rewarded by a dopamine hit-and we begin to more easily and naturally spot the good in the world around us.
Gratitude also dampens negative emotions, because our brains aren't able to process both the positive and negative simultaneously. That's why nervous flyers are sometimes encouraged to take a pen and paper on board, and to use the flying time to compose a long list of everything for which they're grateful. Ramping up the warmth of gratitude helps dampen the negativity and fear.

7 Habits of Emotionally Successful People
By Dr. Mercola
Your emotional health is at the crux of your quality of life. Without
happiness, hopefulness and well-being, it's difficult to reach your full potential and embrace each day as it comes.
Your
emotional health is also intricately tied to your physical health, such that an emotionally imbalanced person will be at a greater risk of chronic diseases and acute illnesses like colds and flu. One study found, for instance, that happiness, optimism, life satisfaction, and other positive psychological attributes are associated with a lower risk of heart disease.
In many ways, your level of emotional success is based on your own choices and attitudes. While some people are able to roll with the punches, others get easily sidelined by challenges along the way.

Recipe of the Month
Vegetable Tian This is the real-deal authentic dish from the South of France. Tian is used to describe both the baked sliced vegetables and the earthenware dish they're cooked in. Cooking the vegetables beforehand lends that much-needed moisture to this recipe. Ingredients For 4 people
- 1 pound vine-ripened tomatoes
- 1 eggplant
- 2 zucchinis
- 2 garlic cloves
- 3 small slices of sandwich bread without the crust
- 2 cups olive oil
- Fresh thyme
- Salt and cracked black pepper
Preheat your oven to 350° F.
- Wash and thinly slice the tomatoes.
- Wash then slice the zucchinis into thin rounds.
- Wash the eggplant, and cut it in half. Then cut each half into thin slices. Heat some olive oil in a large skillet. Add the eggplant slices, and cook them for 3 minutes. Season with salt, remove to a plate and set aside.
- Do the same with the zucchini rounds. Remove them to another plate and set aside.
- Rub your casserole dish with half of a garlic clove, then brush it with olive oil.
- Arrange the vegetables vertically in the dish starting with a row of tomato slices. Continue with a row of zucchini slices. Then add a row of eggplant. Continue alternating the vegetables, until the dish is full. Pack the vegetables together gently, using your hand.
- Use a food processor to make breadcrumbs from the sandwich slices.
- Sprinkle the vegetables with the second peeled garlic clove (grated or crushed), the fresh thyme and the breadcrumbs.
- Drizzle olive oil over the entire dish.
- Bake for about 30 minutes, until the tian is nicely browned.
