Tenth Triennial Gathering theme set
 
"All Anew" is the theme for Women of the ELCA's Tenth Triennial Gathering in Minneapolis, Minn., July 13-16, 2017. The theme is supported by several biblical texts that speak of renewal. The churchwide executive board accepted "All Anew" as the theme following a July 20 conference call meeting. Find out more.
YOUR GIFTS HELPED TEENS LEARN PERILS OF SEX TRAFFICKING  

  

Thanks to your gifts, teens who attended the ELCA Youth Gathering in Detroit last month helped make more than 1,500 hygiene kits for organizations that work with victims of human sex trafficking. Learn more.  
ADULTS AT YOUTH GATHERING FOUND REFUGE, COFFEE 
 
Hundreds of adults serving a s youth leaders at the gathering last month found refuge in the Women of the ELCA space where they relaxed, visited and drank about 168 gallons of coffee over the three-day event. They also heard presentations from local organizations working with victims of sex trafficking.  See photos of tired and thankful adults.

Women of the ELCA invited a photographer to document the our work at the 2015 ELCA Youth Gathering in Detroit. View day-by-day photos of the event. Beginning with the set up on Tuesday and Wednesday, the event on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday and weary, slap-happy colleagues loading the U-Haul with exhibit materials for its final trip home.
