Huntington Beach, CA - July 3, 2014 - It was perfect weather today to kick off the 2014 Huntington Beach Surf Classic, the first of two shows this summer in Huntington Beach with West Palms Events. The Independence Day week is off to a great start for Daniella Sternberg who claimed victory in the Children's Jumper class. Congratulations to Daniella, who trains with Edgar Pagan. Daniella said she appreciates the GGT footing here at the Huntington Beach Surf Classic. "There aren't a lot of shows that have this quality footing even in the warm up rings!"

Celebrating 4th of July in our city is an amazing experience and we're excited to share it all with all the competitors and their families."
This week the Huntington Beach Surf Classic will showcase some exciting events. Friday will feature both the Grand Prix Hunter Derby, presented by Villas at Rancho Valencia and the $5,000 iJump Sport Team Challenge. The Team Challenge will be the third leg of the qualifying classes for the $15,000 final that will take place at the Las Vegas National in November. On Saturday, our fantastic vendors are hosting a pre Grand Prix cocktail party to begin one hour before the main event. Come shop, mix and mingle before the $25,000 GGT Footing Grand Prix, presented by S&S Bankcard Systems. Seaside Catering and Events are providing delicious breakfast, lunch and dinner options for exhibitors all week so come try the new offerings while resting between classes.
