No stuffy Victorians here! Two cads masquerade to win their lady loves in this comedic masterpiece by the great Oscar Wilde.
The Importance of Being Earnest
By Oscar Wilde Directed by Sabin Epstein Preview: Thursday, July 5 Opening Night: Friday, July 6 Saturday, July 7 at 2 p.m. and 8 p.m. Sunday, July 8 at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. Full of razor-sharp wit, innuendo, and the rapid-fire dialogue for which Wilde is loved, this satirical comedy takes a side-splitting stab at the Victorian era. Joe Knezevich and Courtney Patterson are together again as lovers Jack and Gwendolyn, and in a fun casting twist, Mark Cabus appears as Lady Bracknell, with the lovely Megan McFarland in the role of the butler Lane. This show is a must-see for those who love a little lampooning!
