Guidelines for the 2017 CityArts Program grants are now available!
 
The CityArts program provides general operating support to Chicago-based, arts and culture-focused, nonprofit organizations with budgets under $2 million. Guidelines can be found at www.chicagoculturalgrants.org.

 

Application assistance workshops will take place at the Chicago Cultural Center this month and attendance is encouraged, though not required. To register for one of these workshops, please visit cityarts2017.eventbrite.com

  • Tuesday, January 10, 10am-12pm, 5th Floor Washington Room
  • Wednesday, January 11, 1-3pm, 5th Floor Washington Room
  • Wednesday, January 18, 10am-12pm, 5th Floor Washington Room
  • Thursday, January 19, 5-7pm, 5th Floor Washington Room

 

The CityArts Application period opens on January 16, 2017, and the Deadline for applications is February 28, 2017 at 5pm CST. Absolutely no extensions will be granted.

 

The mission of the Department of Cultural Affairs and Special Events (DCASE) is to enrich Chicago's artistic vitality and cultural vibrancy. To support this mission, DCASE provides more than $1.7 million annually in direct funding for Chicago's arts community through its Cultural Grants Program.
