It's Spring! Opportunity Knocks ...
From summer and year-round jobs to adult programs to the sprouting of new buildings, opportunity and growth are around every corner this spring at Camp Stevens. Summer camp registration for Adventure Sessions and Wilderness Trips are now available, as is registration for all our family weekends. The Bergstrom Lodge will soon be underway (follow us on Instagram and Facebook to see the progress). And spring mix and daffodils are pushing through the soil getting ready to decorate (or be eaten in) the Dining Hall. Details about all these things can be found in this newsletter!

As always, call or email with any questions or feedback. And I hope to see you sometime in the next few months!

With gratitude,

Beth Bojarski
Executive Director
Registration is now available for all our adult, family, and youth programs including the Gary Hall Retreat, Adventure Sessions, Wilderness Trips, and Memorial Day, Sequoia, Harvest, and Thanksgiving Family Camp!

Reminders will be provided on our social media sites once registration is available.

Rev. Gary HallBoth the 2016 presidential campaign and the early days of the Trump administration have raised serious spiritual, ethical, and missional questions for mainline Christians. What is our personal and collective stance toward a presidency so clearly at odds with most accepted norms (economic justice and racial reconciliation to name two) of Christian faith and practice? How do we monitor our own interior lives in the face of the external chaos abroad in our body politic? And how can we organize effectively to stand for the gospel values of justice, inclusion, and compassion that seem once again to be contested in our common life? LEARN MORE

Gary Hall is a longtime friend, chaplain, and retreat leader at Camp Stevens.  A former school, college, and seminary teacher (and longtime parish priest), he is the recently retired dean of Washington National Cathedral.

Retreat Center & Hospitality Manager
The Retreat Center Manager is responsible for year-round reservations, hospitality, and operations of the retreat center, all camp sponsored non-summer programs, and summer camp registration. This position interfaces with other areas of camp - food service, maintenance, program staff - to ensure positive guest experience inspired by the Camp Stevens mission. This is primarily an office-based position, with much hands-on hospitality interacting with guests and overseeing lodges, and participating in programs as needed.
