Are We Linked?

At 500+ million members, LinkedIn is the world's largest professional network. It allows you to connect with people in over 200 countries and territories, find potential employees (or jobs), and establish your personal brand. Although face-to-face communication is crucial in business, it's extremely difficult (and in many cases, impossible) to keep up with your entire network on a consistent basis. That's where LinkedIn comes in: log in a few times a week, interact with your connections, post about what's going on in your career or company, and you're done. If you're asking yourself if you should be on LinkedIn, the answer is yes. Think of it as a way you can get rid of your stacks of business cards!

Member Spotlight: Opportunity to Learn

Carol Osnes, Chief Operations Officer at Yankee Eye Clinic and Rosemount Eye Clinic
Four years ago, I began working with my husband, Dr. Osnes, at his two optometric clinics. My first big project was the renovation of the Eagan office.  Since then, my efforts have been to help enhance the culture of our two clinics and assist in the growth of our amazing team members. Being involved with the Dakota County Regional Chamber has given me the opportunity to learn and grow professionally. I enjoy the variety of events to volunteer for such as the WomEn's Conference and the Golf Tournament along with learning and making new friendships through the WomEn's Circle. I also appreciate how the Chamber keeps me up-to-date on the important issues that affect Minnesota businesses. I am blessed to be part of such a dynamic and enriching Chamber.

Eagan Auto Repair
Perry Linn
1340 Duckwood Drive
Eagan, MN 55123
(651) 454-7100
Visit website here

Eagan Auto Repair is a family owned and operated business. Perry Linn truly has a lifelong history in the industry! Starting at age 12, working at his father's service station, Perry handled the garbage detail until he was tall enough to wash windows for customers. Remember, this was back in the day of "full service" service stations. In high school, Perry was in a vo-tech program for auto mechanics and managed one of his dad's stores by the age of 15. Graduating from Dunwoody as a Master ASE technician, Perry owned his first service center by the age of 27. Today, with three locations, he follows in his dad's footsteps. With that much experience, you can be sure he'll know how to help with whatever auto repair, tires and service needs you have.
