Brady Power of the Pen Team Has "Write-Stuff"

Twelve Students from the Brady Middle School Power of the Pen team competed and performed well in the annual Power of the Pen District Competitive Writing Tournament held recently. Four students finished in the top 12 out of more than 100 competitors with one also capturing "Best of Round."

The Brady team’s success at the District Tournament means many of these talented writers will be going on to compete at the Regional Tournament held this spring. Brady will be notified soon so stay tuned!

Orange Sophomores Earn eXpression Awards

Four Orange High School sophomores were presented awards earlier this month from the Cleveland Clinic eXpressions™ Language Program for their writing. Samantha Wittenberg earned a Blue Ribbon. Emily Ciuprinskas and Jack Newman both earned Red Ribbons while Brynn Kemelhar earned an Honorable Mention. The students were honored at a ceremony held at the Global Center for Health Innovation in downtown Cleveland where their work will be on display.

OHS Mock Trial Advances 2 Teams to State Competition

The Orange High School Mock Trial Team thrived in the recent Regional Competition in Downtown Cleveland and is sending two teams to the State Competition. Teams Everest, Fuji and Olympus Mons represented Orange in the Regional Competition. Team Everest and Team Fuji were selected to advance to the State Competition this March.
