Important Update for Yakima Ferry & Schedule
The M/V Yakima remains in service, but it must run on reduced speeds due to propeller damage. Unfortunately, this means that transit times are expected to take longer than normal, which can result in accumulated delays. Beginning Thursday, May 17, there will be a 1:55 p.m. departure from Anacortes to Orcas Island on Thursdays for the remainder of the spring schedule. The 1:55 p.m. sailing was previously only available Fridays and Sundays. We encourage passengers to make reservations for travel, and these additional sailings have been added to the reservation system.
