International Gator Day- Volunteers Needed!
From London to Seattle to Dallas to Key West, Gators Clubs worldwide are coordinating community service events for International Gator Day.
This year, the DC Gator Club is giving you two opportunities to participate in service oriented activities.
Hands On DC Work-a-Thon

Join thousands of other volunteers from all parts of DC as we work together to improve D.C. Public Schools!
Hands on DC's biggest event is a one-day Work-a-thon held every spring. During the Work-a-thon, approximately 2,000 volunteers spend the day at one of about 30 DC public schools.

Along with nutrition counseling, Food & Friends prepares, packages and delivers meals and groceries to more than 1,400 people living with HIV/AIDS, cancer and other life-challenging illnesses throughout the DMV area. Since 1988, Food & Friends has provided food and companionship to clients, their loved ones and caregivers.

Parking is available on site and the closest metro station is Fort Totten on the red, green or yellow lines and shuttle service is provided to and from the site.
