Dear Friends & Neighbors,

We wrapped up a successful 2016 legislative session with both victories and disappointments. Among the victories were an increase in average per student funding by $112 (K-12), and no cuts to higher education. But among the disappointments were bills obligating more permanent funding of transportation projects and enterprise status for the state's Hospital Provider Fee.

As your State Representative, I have worked hard to lift up the voices of those who find themselves living at the margins of our society. My legislative accomplishments were about giving everyone a fair shot, everyone a voice, and not allowing the same old "failed policies" to   stop us from where we believe we need to go.

In the Senate, I will continue to fight to get results for Colorado families on issues  important to all of us, as I always have. My campaign to serve in the Senate is about you and your worries, concerns and fears.

But I cannot do it alone. I am a sking you to fight with me to restore the Democratic majority in the State Senate.

Can you please donate $29.00 or more to ensure we win the Democratic nomination for Colorado Senate District 29?

We have voluntee rs knocking on doors, dialing phones, and working at outreach events around town to get our message out. Our focus is to ensure a level playing field and a fighting chance for everyone to succeed.

Our momentum starts here, with you. We couldn't do it without you.
