Serve the City. Tackle Issues. Live on Mission.
The Fellowship Focus // March Recap
Our vision at CPCUL is to be a world-class developer of diverse, kingdom-building community leaders. What does that mean exactly?

First, we desire to be a world-class developer. Essentially, we provide Fellows with exceptional support through life-coaching, identity development, professional development, personality testing, strengths assessing and experiential learning through work in our non-profits where Fellows can practice what they're learning.

Secondly, we are intentionally diverse. We have a diversity in age, race, background and work experience. We don't do this to fit in with the times, we do it because we believe it is imperative to our success an organization and as Christians. We believe a homogenous Fellowship would rob us of the beauty, creativity and possibility for reconciliation that diversity offers.

Lastly, we are developing kingdom-building community leaders. Our goal is to walk alongside Fellows for 2 years to train and equip them to be change-agents in communities across the United States and the world. Fellows will be able to respond to the city's toughest issues with critical thinking and creativity because of the knowledge, experience and expertise gained through the Fellowship.

Why Join the Fellowship?

"I've seen what the Fellowship can do for people. I've seen it catapult Fellows into a new level of leadership, a new level of confidence in who they are, and a new understanding of their gifts and how they want to use them." -Director of CPCUL, Greg Hahl

Spotlight Interview
Curtis Minter Jr.

Q: " Where are you from and how long have you been a part of the Fellowship?"
A: "I'm from the greatest place on Earth -- Akron, OH. I have been in the fellowship approximately 20 months."

Q: "What do you like most about your job in the Fellowship?"
A: "I enjoy exercising my gifts as a connector and as a developer. I also enjoy establishing relationships that are both unique and challenging."

Q: "If given the chance, who would you be for a day?"
A: "W.E.B.Du Bois. I often read his words and I believed he learned to embrace the tension of his era. Du Bois transcended the times through art, activism, sociology and literature; while still showing a deep affection for his people."

Q: "If Hollywood made a movie about your life..." Click here to read the rest of the interview with Curtis!
