"Sugar Magnolias" meets symphony

Echoing their historic 1970 performance with the Grateful Dead under music director Lukas Foss, the BPO will perform the music of the Grateful Dead. Paul Ferington will conduct the free concert, part of the Hard Rock Cafe Niagara Falls' "Hard Rock Rocks Old Falls Street" series. The show begins at 6 p.m. Saturday, July 14, with the BPO taking the stage around 9 p.m. Forever Young will be a special guest artist. Come hear why Ferington compared this music to that of the Beatles, and why he feels it will remain popular for years to come.
BLT and BPO?
With a short season in which to enjoy the outdoors, the average Western New Yorker takes full advantage, and the BPO is no exception! At noon on Wednesday, July 18, make sure to pack your lunch and bring it to the M&T Plaza on Main Street near the Fountain Plaza Metro stop and West Huron Street in downtown Buffalo. Your BPO will be there, performing a free concert as part of the M&T Summer Concerts Series.
