New Business: Catherine E. Newton, LCSW

Cathrine recently relocated to the West Plains Area and decided to make OzSBI home for her counseling practice. Cathrine is located on the main floor in Suite 104.

A few words from Catherine, "I truly enjoy helping trauma survivors of all ages who really want to get well and are willing and ready to work hard to achieve full recovery. I also have a great deal of experience treating anxiety, depression, grief, phase of life issues, women's issues, weight loss issues, dysfunctional family system issues and ACOA issues. I have worked for companies providing critical incident debriefing for their employees after a crisis."

Catherine has a heart for helping trauma victims of all ages get to the root of the pain that keeps them stuck in their lives and relationships. Victims of trauma often spend a lifetime reenacting their trauma in one relationship after another, until they finally give up on trying to "get it right".

She practices a form of Trauma Treatment called EMDR which is very effective in treating many forms of trauma. She is competent to provide Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Marital and Internal Family Systems Therapy. Contact her at 417.255.8783
