Luke 18:1 (KJV)

GOOD MORNING/GOOD DAY/GOOD EVENING/GOOD NIGHT!!!

Whatever time or place you read this, GOD BLESS YOU!

As I typed the above title and date, I almost typed my wife's birth year-TODAY is her 29th birthday, AGAIN-HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO MY DEAR WIFE!!!!

LIFE is a constant series of challenges-just when you think you are finished, another challenge/crisis/battle rears its head.

In THIS life, one can NEVER take off their shoes and "sat a spell!"

A dear friend and brother in the Lord always sends me devotions he enjoys reading.

I AWOKE (PRAISE THE LORD FOR AWAKENING AGAIN!) this morning to another devotion dedicated to my FAVORITE subject-PRAYER.

P.U.S.H.

PRAY
UNTIL
SOMETHING
HAPPENS!

The question I must ask all my readers is this:

DID YOU WRITE DOWN YOUR NEW YEAR PRAYER?????

If your answer is YES, do you still BELIEVE God can and IS answering your PRAYER!!??

May I interject another quote from my second favorite book, "THE DISCIPLINES OF LIFE-

http://www.ccel.us/disciplines.ch17.html

''Another handy reason for quitting is just the opposite-we want to quit, not because we think we see something better, but because we see nothing at all;-so, why continue? Why not throw up the sponge? Well, that depends. Was this thing laid on you to do? Were your motives sound? Had you a clear right and a clear reason to start it? Very well-what has happened? Oh, a cloud has settled down and you cannot see? Well, many a man has never seen the light he needed, or the work he needed, until he entered that cloud and walked through it. Following faithfully on never leads anyone into permanent darkness. But for the quitter, all he is likely to get is a stronger habit of quitting and a lower place to begin again. The man who will not give up, even if he fail of his objective, is led through to another objective; the man who hangs on as if he were paid to hang on can always start again at par or better-he has strengthened himself.
''Most of us are where we are for a very good reason. This is our post which has no one to hold it but us. If we abandon it, we discover that it is something in ourselves we abandon. Just keeping on, through the most hopeless aspect of keeping on, may be the important act of one's career. The last dejected effort often becomes the winning stroke!

Luke 18:1 (KJV)
1  And he spake a parable unto them to this end, that men ought always to pray, and not to faint;

" THE HARDEST PART OF FAITH IS THE FINAL 15 MINUTES!"

There is my favorite Word in the Bible-"FAINT!"

MY definition of FAINT IS "TO LOSE COURAGE OR HOPE, TO GIVE UP!"

WE fail because WE "LOSE COURAGE OR HOPE, GIVE UP!"

SWING BATTER SWING!!!!!!!!!!!!!

" The last dejected effort often becomes the winning stroke!"

TODAY, DON'T QUIT OR GIVE UP!

(On being asked how he felt about repeatedly failing to design a working light bulb)

"I have not failed. I've just found 10,000 ways that won't work"

--Thomas Edison
