Three cool clay camps, Just For Girls field trips, Monday night's open studio and community members utilizing the PAC's firing schedule for their own work created at home...it's always exciting to open the kilns after every firing to see the results of summer fun and creativity. Wow!
Ever wondered what it feels like to play with clay on the potter's wheel or using free-form hand building techniques? Stop in between 6 - 8pm on Monday evenings to learn the basics before adding your excitement to our next firing! During the summer break, kids are also invited to come play.
Also exciting: New PAC friend Leah Snyder shares her creative card making techniques on August 27th and 29th. Cooking classes and tapas will be back on the menu soon. By popular request, Eric Wilds will be offering a follow up series of "Plant to Plate" classes this Fall; bringing his horticultural knowledge and casual cooking flair to a deliciously social evening. Seasonally inspired pies, made fresh from scratch, will be taught (and savored) by Ms. Barbara and her class as the cool months set in.
After reading the below, do have a look at our class calendar for more information about our August happenings and regular classes. Also, don't forget to "Like" us on Facebook for regular updates, news and event pictures. Doing so, like telling your friends about PAC, helps spread the word and keeps good things growing.
As always, PAC invites you to bring a friend, refer a friend or to make new friends this Summer...and thanks you for your ongoing and inspiring support.

Farewell to our "Funner" Summer Camps

We have sure had fun this summer. It seems like forever ago when Ms. Kymmie was sewing with the kiddos...or Ms. Barbara was making blueberry pies from scratch ...and Ms. Wendy was doing morning dancing & drawing warm ups to groovy tunes. This week, Gretchen and happy campers are creating hand-sculpted underwater sea friends (like the one Fede has created above). The last week of wheel camp will soon come and go and we will be back into the school swing. But as we say farewell to Summer Camps, do feel encouraged to RSVP early for ART After School which will start back up in September. Six weeks of Recyclable Arts! Have a peek at the PAC Calendar for complete details. Gretchen
