POTTERY WHEEL AND HANDBUILDING MINI CAMP 2012
In the Carroll Gardens Studio Only
On the wheel, students will be exposed to the fundamentals of wedging, centering, lifting, trimming and glazing. With Handbuilding/Sculpture, students will learn how to make functional pottery with slab, coil and pinching techniques. Each class will be a small setting of 5-9 students and each student will receive individualized instructions according to his or her interests, experience and skill level by our accomplished artist/teachers.
Various decorating techniques will be taught and will determine the amount of time as to when your pottery will be finished after firing. Most pottery will be ready for pick up 3 weeks after our session has ended.

CLAY & ART MINI CAMP 2012
RUNS MONDAY THROUGH THURSDAY FROM 11:00 AM TO 3:00 PM. EACH WORKSHOP IS $440/WEEK OR $110/DAY.
SIBLINGS $420/WEEK OR $105/DAY.
PLEASE REGISTER 2 WEEKS IN ADVANCE WITH PAYMENT IN FULL.

COED, ages 6 to 14 years old. We will divide the children into two groups according to age.
Limited to 20 Children Per Session.
From 3:00pm-6:00pm, children attending workshop pay $4 studio fee plus the price of pottery.
Our workshops focus on clay handbuilding/sculpture, painting pottery, mosaic techniques and some bead work ! We offer specialized instruction in a small group setting. The projects change each week so repeat campers have a unique curriculum providing a fun and rewarding experience with each visit. |
