MartinLogan Impression ESL 11A

The MartinLogan Renaissance ESL 15A was the first in the Masterpiece series setting performance expectations for all future models. The Expression ESL 13A followed with startling performance. Now the Impression ESL 11A is surprising listeners with a very affordable price tag of only $9.995!

The Impression ESL 11A features the MartinLogan Curvilinear Line Source (CLS) XStat vacuum-bonded electrostatic transducer with its advanced microperf stator technology and newly designed ultra-rigid AirFrame Blade  construction; plus, two very low-distortion aluminum cone woofers powered by dual Class-D amplifiers and controlled by a 24-Bit Vojtko DSP Engine with ARC (Anthem Room Correction). The result is greater than the sum of these technologies - music is alive!

The Impression ESL 11A is the most affordable offering in the Masterpiece Series taking the technology of the larger models to a more modest size and price point. The highly refined CLS XStat panel is blended with two individually enclosed 8" aluminum cone woofers driven by two potent 300 watt amplifiers. This hybrid design allows the user to choose exactly the amplifier they would like to drive the loudspeaker with while the low frequency component of the sound is reinforced and enhanced by ARC and 600 watts of muscle. 

The patented  PoweredForce Forward bass technology uses an advanced crossover design employing phase-timed woofers to minimize any destructive reflected energy. By virtually eliminating front-wall bass reflections and working in sync with the CLS panel, PoweredForce Foward Bass Technology gives your client more room placement flexibility, and enhances the true audio realism of their music and film soundtracks. The 24-Bit Vojtko DSP Engine handles the blending of the powerful bass section with the speed of the panel delivering a seamless unified sound. Bass is flat and extended to 29 Hz.
