Anthem Room Correction quickly "corrects" the effects that reflective surfaces such as walls, floors and ceilings have on the sound radiating from a loudspeaker. Removing the effects of these obstacles allows your audio equipment to achieve a more natural sound in any room, as close to the lab standard as possible.

ARC is a proprietary digital signal processing software that works with a specially-engineered calibration microphone and your PC to quickly and easily optimize audio for your unique listening space. Anthem engineers developed the ARC system while researching how to replicate the audio-lab standard of performance in non-lab environments.

Take Your Client Invisible!
Stealth Acoustics Product Assembly Line

Why Stealth Acoustics Is Your Go To Invisible Speaker
Stealth Acoustics manufacturers the  best and most reliable invisible speakers, flexible amplification and DSP-based processing, best in class outdoor speakers, outdoor theaters, using their systems approach to totally invisible sound. No other invisible speaker manufacturer has their depth of product offerings or in-field project experience towards solving the invisible speaker performance equation.

The Invisible Speaker Value Equation
Let's examine the LR8g loudspeaker. They are priced at $999 a pair. Compared to similar in performance visible speakers, they offer an  acoustically coupled high quality, high-power 8" woofer carefully matched to a direct coupled 25 mm neo-magnet high-frequency motor. Patented advanced internal carbon fiber materials allow for smooth frequency extension to 20 kHz. When the LR8G is installed in standard insulated 2" x 4" framing and allowed to function in a full 8 foot stud bay, frequency response below 40 Hz can easily be achieved. If they are located in a ceiling application, the same results can be achieved. With their unique polar response of 170 degrees vertical and horizontal, they easily outperform most 8" competitors and with two independent protection circuits (high-frequency and low-frequency sections) that automatically reset upon reduction of excessive amplifier power, they are more likely to perform for years in their installed location.

Offering invisibility is simple.
Ask your client if they want visible or invisible speakers. The usual response is, "What do you mean by "invisible"? You have the opportunity to highlight this unique solution - completely invisible sound - high performance - and high client satisfaction.

Installing Invisible Speakers - simple - easy!
Installing Invisible Speakers - simple - easy!
Installing Invisible Speakers - Easy!
We get questions about the complexity of installation and clients are always surprised to find out that installing an invisible speaker takes just about the same amount of time as a visible one. Visible speakers require pre-wiring with a new construction bracket. Later when finishing the installation, the speaker must be installed into the drywall. Surprisingly, the invisible speaker installation process is quite similar. Watch the installation process video. It is simple, clean, and adapts perfectly to the clients decor!

Invisible Subwoofers Too!
Complete the invisibility with a pair of B30g or B22g subwoofers. Combined with a Stealth Acoustics SA255 amplifier, these potent subs deliver for extended bass with music or impact for a completely hidden theater.

Reviewers And Clients Report That BalancedForce  Subwoofers Are Spectacular

Reviewers Say:

The BalancedForce 212s are so flexible that I can imagine them-used in almost any room, and with almost any speaker-restoring the tactile impact and low-end reach that other subs usually leave by the door... Whether or not you have MartinLogan speakers to pair them with, I strongly, strongly recommend the BalancedForce 212. It's definitely not a tubby thumper, and no imagination is needed, because nothing is missing.
The BF212 is one of those rare subwoofers that can be described as essential. It delivers uncompromised bass with clarity, accuracy, and an utter lack of colorations. Once it's been tuned to a room with ML's Perfect Bass Kit, there's a high likelihood that you'll never need another sub. Never... it is my judgment that the BalancedForce 212 is in a class with the best subs available to the home-audio enthusiast. The BF212 is one for the short list -- it's required listening for anyone who's dead serious about the low end. Highly recommended.
Kevin East, SoundStage! Hi-Fi

When coupled with the BalancedForce 210 subwoofer, the sum performance was greater than any one speaker's individual achievement. I used to avoid my family room... However, thanks to the addition of the Vanquish and Axis speakers, I now find myself wanting to watch movies in the family room. I would highly recommend this product if you are considering an architectural speaker solution for your space

Clients love them too!

Roger E says: Essential addition for large spaces, build quality is first rate I have a pair of 212s teamed with Martin Logan Summit Xs to fill an open concept house with sound and the 212s are a key component to creating a unbeatable audio experience. After much research I concluded that my subwoofers needed to be precisely matched to my electrostatics, and the 212s were the answer. I have the 212s placed on the other side of the house from the Summit Xs but you would never know it as the lower frequencies appear to be coming from the Summit Xs. The 212s are not inexpensive, but the build quality and audio rewards are top notch, and it is a product that will last you for a few decades.

Glenn J says: Seamless extension to the lowest octave of human hearingI used to work in the field of engineering acoustics, including some work in speaker evaluation using impulse functions. When I saw that Martin Logan was selling some subwoofers that were capable of custom tuning using what appeared to be a familiar technique, I had to have one. The PBK space averaged transfer function that they appear to be using just begged to come home with me.  So I bought the BalancedForce 210 and ordered the PBK accessory to be delivered later. I thought this set up would have really excellent "play value" for someone with my interests.  It was my plan to mate this subwoofer to my Theos main speakers in a two channel system. I noted that Martin Logan has a custom function that can be downloaded to effect this pairing, and I intend to install the proper file later.
I am writing this note today because, following the instructions in the BalancedForce 210's owner's manual, I was able to pair the subwoofer with the Theos beautifully, and without resorting to downloading any files or using the PBK accessory. I will look forward to doing these future tweaks, but for now I am wrapped up in very pleasant listening. The Theos are quite good, have a +/- 3 dB limit at about 43 Hz. The 210 allows you to pick up the next lower octave of program content. Many two channel sources have very little, or even no acoustic content in this lowest audible octave, but for many recordings, the lowest audible octave adds richness and reality to things like large drums, very low bass notes from organs, electric basses, acoustic basses, synthesizers, organs, and the like. I've played through several cds today, and I think there were noticeable improvements that I could hear in every case. Most of the musical program material that I selected was chosen for my love of the music. But eventually I had to try some recordings that present special challenges to reproduction equipment. The most notable of these was Paula Cole's "This Fire." I have NEVER before heard a believable playback of the first cut, Tiger. There are a couple of bass segments on this cut that will cause every other speaker, including the unaugmented Theos, to crash and burn. The Theos augmented by the 210 breezed through this cut, including all of the absurd infrasonic bits that accompany the audible low bass notes. I like this subwoofer better than I thought I would. Its low frequency cut off limit is 30 Hz, so this allows it to "get out of the way" of the Theos very effectively, and they mate up exceedingly well. The stock settings of 90 degrees for phase, 0 for the 25 Hz boost/cut setting, 4 for the level setting, and 30 for the low frequency limit setting seem to be hard to improve on. I look forward to being proven wrong when I get around to downloading the Theos matching file, and going through the PBK set up. I would buy this component again without reservations.

Steve E. says: Took an impossible room to a perfect room! - I purchased a BalancedForce 212 for a new listening room I inherited. The room turned out to be an impossible listening situation with a 26 dB difference between low bass and midbass. So if I turned up the volume to have any midbass, the room was thundering and overwhelmed by the deep bass range while everything else suffered. If I turned down the bass to control the low bass to a safe level, there was a complete absence of midbass. I ran the MartinLogan Perfect Bass Kit and the PBK coupled with the BalancedForce 212 now delivers completely accurate bass with impact and completely changed my audio system! See the graph below for the proof!

The 9018 DAC is capable of accepting an extremely wide range of inputs all the way up to 32-Bit/384kHz PCM and 5.2MHz DSD (double-DSD). The DAC exhibits exemplary dynamic range, jitter elimination and low noise characteristics to satisfy even the most demanding listeners.

New Generation ICE Power
The nova150 incorporates the latest generation of ICEPower amplification - with an impressive 150 watts per channel. The amplifier utilizes ICEpower's innovative and patented Hybrid Controlled Oscillation Modulator (HCOM) feedback and control techniques to ensure high output, wide bandwidth, low noise, robust stability and a simplified overall design. HCOM incorporates separate feedback loops after the power stage and after the output filter. This lets the system address specific issues related to the power stage and output filter independently, resulting in lower distortion, less noise on the output, a less load-dependent frequency response, and a very low output impedance compared to other class D amps. This new amplifier technology is extremely powerful, dynamic, quiet and most importantly... musical. Relatively small size and superior efficiency allows a nova chassis that is even smaller than its predecessors, without the large, heavy and expensive heat sinking common in class A/B amplifiers. The amplifier in the nova150 is capable of driving an extremely wide range of speakers with impedances as low as 2.5Ω and as high as 16Ω. Combine that with a power output of 150 watts per channel and you can be sure this new nova will easily drive your favorite loudspeaker.

Dead Silent Background To Reveal Maximum Dynamics
The nova150 utilizes an extensive power supply and grounding design to ensure the noise floor is pushed as far down as possible to allow the music to shine through. Our engineers spent hours upon hours determining the optimal power supply filtering and grounding scheme to prevent any unwanted noise from finding its way into the signal path. As a result, the nova150 achieves a remarkable dynamic range and signal-to-noise ratio. Turn up the nova150 to full volume without music playing, put your ear to the speaker and enjoy the lack of noise!

PAMrep has purchased a demo nova150 - let's plan to discuss the new Nova Series and give the nova150 a listen!

MartinLogan Expression 13A $14,999 Pair
expressionShipping now!

The new Expression 13A is a hybrid loudspeaker using a Curvilinear Line Source (CLS) XStat vacuum-bonded electrostatic transducer with advanced microperf stator technology and redesigned ultra-rigid AirFrame Blade construction; plus, dual low-distortion aluminum cone woofers powered by dual Class-D amplifiers and controlled by a 24-Bit Vojtko DSP Engine with ARC (Anthem Room Correction).

Modern Masterpiece
MartinLogan's masterwork is their award-winning Curvilinear Line Source (CLS) controlled dispersion XStat electrostatic (ESL) transducer and robust woofer system-a revolutionary melding of design and engineering. Inspired by their own breakthrough design, MartinLogan has reinvented the woofer system in the new Masterpiece Series. Using two independently enclosed woofers in the compact chamber, exclusive PoweredForce Forward bass alignment controls the interaction between the rear-firing woofer and the wall behind that woofer. This phase-shifting technology minimizes the effect the front wall has on bass information that might bounce back into the listening room. This uniform frequency response results in realistic bass effects your client can feel.

MartinLogan Expression 13A features:
  • Dual Low Distortion Aluminum Cone Woofers in a sealed enclosure - rigid cast baskets and stiff cones eliminate distortion, while the high excursion, extended throw drive assemblies produce tremendous amounts of low end in a surprisingly compact, beautifully finished enclosure. Expression ESL 13A features dual 10-inch woofers extending down to 24Hz. Impression ESL 11A features dual 8-inch woofers extending down to 29Hz.
  • Curvilinear Line Source (CLS) Electrostatic Panel - CLS technology is an essential element of every electrostatic loudspeaker MartinLogan has ever designed. Through our proprietary manufacturing methods we have built-in the panel's gentle horizontal curvature. This unique design enhances the high frequency detail and dispersion produced by the large radiating surface, without compromising overall sound quality. Electrostatic panels, which are true dipole speakers, produce a nearly-ideal controlled dispersion radiation pattern. They send very little sound to the sides, thereby minimizing side-wall reflections whose short arrival times tend to interfere with the perception of the direct sound. Their strong rear radiation produces a generous amount of natural, ambience-enriching later-arriving sonic information. Expression ESL 13A features a dipolar 13x44-inch electrostatic transducer with a radiating area of 572 square inches per side.
  • New Ultra-Rigid AirFrame Blade Design, found throughout the Masterpiece Series, is precision manufactured from an aerospace-grade extruded aluminum alloy. The bold, forward-moving styling of this AirFrame Blade rail system, narrow and strong in front, broad and forceful from the side, is a modern design statement. It never obstructs playable surface area or interferes with the panel's dipole sound radiation pattern. It also provides electrical and acoustical isolation, minimizing intermodulation distortion caused by vibration and resonance. The flowing lines emphasize the groundbreaking integration of the panel itself with the compact woofer and amplifier section. The breathtaking AirFrame Blade design enhances imaging, low-level sonic detail, accuracy, and speaker efficiency.
  • New PoweredForce Forward Bass Technology combines two MartinLogan audio innovations: PoweredForce, which allows small enclosures to accurately produce massive amounts of bass, and ForceForward, which significantly reduces performance-robbing front-wall bass reflections. PoweredForce Forward bass technology uses an advanced crossover topology with phase timed woofers to minimize destructive reflected energy. By virtually eliminating front-wall bass reflections and working in tandem with the panel, PoweredForce Foward Bass Technology gives you more placement flexibility, and enhances the true audio realism of your sound source.
  • New Anthem Room Correction (ARC) is an exclusive technology used to achieve an extremely accurate low-frequency performance in any room. When you engage the ARC software, a specially calibrated microphone (sold separately) measures the woofer output within your listening space and compares it an optimal response curve. The advanced algorithms of ARC then utilize the speaker's 24-bit DSP to adjust your speaker's low-frequency output to account for the unique sonic characteristics of your room. ARC calibration is optional and can be easily defeated using a switch on the speaker.
  • New Dual Class-D Amplification with a 24-Bit Vojtko Digital Signal Processing (DSP) Engine produces clean, powerful bass more efficiently than ever before. This combination of technologies enables the effortless delivery of exhilarating dynamic impact with plenty of overhead. Superior, reliable Class-D technology means there's virtually no energy lost between the amplifiers and the woofers. Expression ESL 13A features dual 300-watt amplifiers. Impression ESL 11A features dual 275-watt amplifiers.
  • Bass and Mid-Bass Level Controls - even with the myriad benefits brought to play through the impressive woofer system technologies, personal taste still determines the final measure of audio experience. For the final tweak, a bass level knob (±10dB under 75Hz) and mid-bass level switch (-2dB, 0, +2dB) offer fine-tuning of the speakers voicing to account for personal preference.
  • Precision-Built Advanced-Topology Vojtko Crossovers are fully hand-built using only the finest polypropylene capacitors and air-core coils. The crossover employs MartinLogan's proprietary Vojtko topology for vanishingly low distortion and seamless woofer/ESL integration. This precision-tuned network preserves the most microscopic sonic nuances while handling the full dynamics of any source.
  • Premium WBT Binding Posts are used to connect your electronics safely and securely. Their fine silver filigree is highly conductive and free from "eddy current" effects. These posts are fully insulated for shock protection and topped with an impressive palladium-plated metal cap, with plenty of room for large-gauge speaker connections.
