Performance With A Masterpiece Series
Passive Hybrid Electrostatic Loudspeaker!
With a brand new design including a large XStat CLS transducer and two
precision aligned aluminum cone woofers in a unique configuration brings a dramatic performance to market at only $6499 a pair!
The ESL portion of the Classic ESL 9 is a full 44" x 9.2" panel using MartinLogan's Advanced MicroPerf stator technology and a new and innovative AirFrame Blade construction that delivers astounding upper bass - middle and high frequency performance.
In the bass section of the Classic ESL 9's are two 8-inch laser-engineered low-distortion aluminum cone woofers, balanced in an opposing array, one forward- and one rear-firing. The precise placement of the drivers greatly reduces cabinet vibrations inherent in same-direction woofer positioning, specifically in the 34Hz to 100Hz range for uniform frequency response resulting in realistic bass effects your client will feel.
Add the two together with the addition of a precision-built advanced-topology Vojtko crossover. Each one is carefully hand-built using only the finest metallized film capacitors, air-core coils, and low DCR steel laminate coils. The crossover employs MartinLogan's proprietary Vojtko topology for astonishingly low distortion and seamless driver/ESL integration. This precision-tuned crossover network excels at preserving and reproducing even the most microscopic sonic nuances, while ably handling the full dynamics of any source.

Introducing DyNEC (Dynamic Noise Elimination Circuit) for iPhone/iPad
The nova150 includes a dedicated asynchronous USB connection on the rear panel that provides a direct digital wired connection for any Apple Lightning-equipped devices. Simply use the cable that came with the iPhone or iPad and your client's music is transformed by the ESS SABRE32 Reference DAC and the superior sonic performance of the nova150!
Peachtree Audio knows that streaming music files from the Lightning connection on the iPhone or iPad is very convenient. Peachtree wants to make sure your client achieves maximum performance from these high-tech marvels!
By its very nature, any computer generates "noise" - the smaller the computer - the better chance for increased noise. A computer's power supply is one source of this noise. Years ago Peachtree Audio attacked this issue of computer-generated noise by isolating the USB inputs of their amplifiers. Having successfully conquered "conventional" computer noise, they want to be sure your client enjoys the same noise-free performance from their iPhone and iPad.*
*Smart phones, notepads and tablets are, of course, small but powerful computers. Power supplies and high-resolution screen refresh rates are possible sources of noise contamination.
With this goal in mind, Peachtree engineers have developed DyNEC: the world's first and only system to address and eliminate all audible power supply and screen noise. DyNEC assures your music files are streamed to the nova150 free of any added noise - so your client's favorite music sounds its very, very best!
Once all sources of noise are eliminated, music files are "handed off" to the Peachtree Audio internal ESS SABRE32 Reference DAC - further improving performance via asynchronous connection, and eliminating any timing errors caused by jitter.
With DyNEC and an asynchronous connection, Peachtree's dedicated iOS input lets your client hear their music with all the clarity, dynamics and emotion the artist intended. So can the iPhone and iPad - perhaps the most convenient music playback devices ever - be taken seriously as high-end audio components? Connected to Peachtree's iOS input, our answer is a resounding YES!

nova300 shipping NOW!

Special notice!
Peachtree Audio has been waiting to begin shipping the nova300 until a newly required USB certification is complete. This certification is required for all manufacturers and products that include a USB input dedicated to Apple iOS devices. Because this requirement is new (it was not required for the nova150) the labs that perform these certifications are currently experiencing much higher than normal volume, causing significant wait times and delays. While we are not in control of the certification lab or process, we are doing everything we can to get this feature certified as soon as possible. We are being told to anticipate approximately 6 weeks before earning approval and that there is some risk that something could delay it even further.
Customer feedback has been clear: "I don't want to wait any longer. Please ship the nova300 to me as soon as possible, with or without the USB-A input."
So we've made the decision to begin shipping the nova300 with the USB-A input for iOS devices disabled. The USB-A input button and connector will not do anything. The nova300 still features a fully functional USB-B input which can be used for direct connection from iOS devices using Apple's $29 Lightning to USB Camera Adapter and a standard USB cable.
What does this mean? It means your nova300 can ship now, but with the USB-A input defeated. Once the USB certification process is successfully completed, we will offer you an upgrade to add the USB-A input capability - at no charge to you. Peachtree will also cover the cost of shipping both ways.
If the iOS input is a primary factor in your decision to choose the nova300, we suggest considering the nova150 if you don't require the extra power of the nova300. The nova150's USB-A input meets all required certifications and is IDENTICAL to the nova300 except for the amplifier section.
What to do now? If you want to begin enjoying the stunning preamp and DAC of the nova300, plus the power to drive EVERY speaker we've thrown at it, order nova300's - t
he Peachtree Audio team is working diligently to complete this certification as soon as possible and we will keep you posted of any significant developments.
Remember the nova300 is a killer DAC, uncommonly high performance preamp, potent headphone amplifier, and a powerful stereo amplifier. With 300 per channel into 8 ohms and 450 watts per channel into 4 ohms combined with the 105 dB in to out signal to noise, this will be an incredible performer!
