PBS to present Defying the Nazis: The Sharps' War,

Defying the Nazis: The Sharps' War, a new film directed by Ken Burns and Artemis Joukowsky, will air on WNIT at 9:00 PM on September 20.
Defying the Nazis: The Sharps' War is the previously untold story of Waitstill and Martha Sharp, an American minister and his wife from Wellesley, MA, who committed to a life-threatening 2 year mission to save scores of imperiled Jews and refugees fleeing Nazi occupation across Europe.
Following the film, WNIT will air a panel discussion with Ben Davis, Executive Director of the Jewish Federation and Bob Feferman, Community Relations Director at the Jewish Federation.
