The Second Annual Stillmeadow Multicultural Night is Monday, March 26 at 6 pm. This event is a wonderful way to share your cultural pride with Stillmeadow students, families, and staff.

Last year, more than 200 people turned out for this event that featured food, music, stories and dancing from more than 20 countries! 

Interested in participating? Complete this form and return it to your child’s teacher by Friday, February 23. 
Gertrude Hawk Chocolates Sale

The Gertrude Hawk Chocolates Sale fundraiser is going on now. The  Spring Catalog features Easter Basket essentials, gourmet specialties, snack tins, and the popular "Teenie Poppers" and "Smidgens" chocolates.

Many items are $10 or less. All chocolate products are Kosher Star D certified unless otherwise noted.

Here is some important information about this program:

  • Paper order forms with payment (cash or check only) must be returned to your child's teacher by Friday, February 23.

  • Click here to set up an online sales account. Stillmeadow's online group code is 727398. Make sure the seller's name matches exactly on the paper order form and online accounts.

  • Online sales deadline is Sunday, March 25. Shipping fees will be added to online orders placed after February 23.

  • Catalog orders and online orders placed by February 23 will be delivered to Stillmeadow in mid-March. A parent or guardian MUST pickup orders delivered to Stillmeadow.

  • Please read this document for full details about the program, including instructions for catalog and online sales programs.

This fundraiser supports enrichment programs, field trips, and other resources for our students.

Citizenship Award Assemblies this Tuesday!

Grades K, 2, 4 at 8:30 am, and Grades 1, 3, 5 at 9:30 am

Stillmeadow's Citizenship awards are an opportunity to acknowledge our students for upholding the responsibilities outlined in our  Stillmeadow Bill of Rights .

Assemblies are held monthly to keep the focus alive and to provide multiple opportunities for many of our students to receive this award. You will receive notice from your child's teacher if he/she is receiving an award this month. Parents are encouraged to attend!
Stillmeadow Family Day at Bridgeport Sound Tigers Game: Sunday, March 11

Attention sports fans: Enjoy an afternoon of live professional hockey with your friends while supporting Stillmeadow Elementary School!

The PFO is selling tickets to the Bridgeport Sound Tigers Game vs. the Springfield Thunderbirds on Sunday, March 11. Game time is 3 pm. Tickets are $20 each. A portion of each ticket will benefit enrichment programs at Stillmeadow.

In addition, the Stillmeadow Chorus under the direction of Mr. David Bodofsky will perform at the game.

Complete and return this form with payment (cash or check make payable to Stillmeadow PFO) by Friday, March 2.

The 2017-18 Stillmeadow Elementary School Yearbook is on Sale NOW.

Order by April 16 to reserve your copy. Yearbooks are $20 each.

You MUST pre-order to receive a yearbook in June.

There are two ways to order:

  • Complete and return the paper order form with payment (cash or check only). Paper forms were sent home with students.

Jump Rope for Heart This Week

Students will participate in Jump Rope for Heart as part of their PE classes during the week of  February 5. Learn more here and in Spanish here . There's still time for students to raise money to support the American Heart Association and help purchase PE Equipment for Stillmeadow.

Stamford Symphony is Sold Out
 
Thank you to everyone who purchased tickets for Stillmeadow Family Day at the Stamford Symphony. Stillmeadow's allotment of discounted tickets is SOLD OUT. If you purchased tickets, vouchers to redeem at Will Call on the day of the performance will be sent home in student folders.

We look forward to seeing more than 80 members of the Stillmeadow Community at this event on February 25.
