Wednesday is 'Wear Jeans for Troops Day'

This Wednesday we are inviting students to wear jeans to school and bring in $5 donations, which will go towards employment, housing and healthcare for veterans. Learn more here

Thank you Coffee this Thursday Morning!

The PFO wants to extend a special thank you to the many parent volunteers who helped to make the Halloween Hop a continued success.

Join us for coffee Thursday morning from 8:15-9:00 am in the Teacher's Lounge. Mrs Asaro will be attending to greet parents.

We would like to invite ALL volunteers and those parents who would like to know about future volunteer opportunities at Stillmeadow.

This was Christine's last Halloween Hop, and we appreciate all of her hard work to make it extra fun for everyone!
Thanksgiving Food Drive Begins This Wednesday

Wednesday, November 8th - Monday, November 20th

Food Items Needed:

  • Canned Soup, Fruit, Vegetables
  • Stuffing
  • Pasta, Tomato Sauce
  • Canned Soup, Fruit, Vegetables

  • Cranberry Sauce
  • Cans of Gravy (Turkey, Chicken)
  • Corn Bread Mix
  • Cooking Oil, Salt, Pepper, Cinnamon
  • Pancake Mix, Syrup
  • Instant Or Regular Coffee
  • Rice, Instant Mashed Potatoes

Please leave donations in the front lobby of the school. Thank you!

Don’t be a Turkey – Sign Up for Bingo!

The Turkey Bingo social event and fundraiser is Friday, November 17th

Here's what you need to know: 

  • Doors open at 6:00 pm; Games begin at 6:30 pm

  • Location: Stillmeadow Cafeteria

  • Cost: $10 per person

  • Cash Prizes for Bingo Winners!

  • Great Raffle and Silent Auction Prizes, including baskets and teacher experiences

  • Bring your own card markers or we will have stampers for sale

  • Pizza will be sold for $2 per slice or pre-order for the whole family! 

  • There will be popcorn, water, juice and snacks for sale

  • Space is limited to 300

We are seeking volunteers to staff the event (check-in, running bingo games, selling refreshments, etc.) and donate prize baskets.

Raise Some Dough for Stillmeadow When You Eat at Cosi
 
The  Cosi  Restaurant on High Ridge Road is hosting a fundraiser for Stillmeadow on  Friday, December 1 from 4 to 9 pm. 

To participate, simply present this flyer when you order, and Cosi will donate 25% of your total purchase (pre-tax, excluding alcohol) to our school.

Cosi is located at   1209 High Ridge Road  in the ACME shopping plaza near the Merritt Parkway. Cosi offers a variety of soups, salads and sandwiches, including vegetarian and gluten-free options. Check out the Cosi Stamford menu  here

Fall Volunteer Opportunities: Sign Up Today!

We need your help to staff or donate items for our Fall 2017 events. Click the links below to review volunteer opportunities and sign up.

Turkey Bingo (November 17) Volunteers are needed to donate gift baskets for the raffle. Volunteers are also needed to staff this annual Thanksgiving-themed bingo night, including help with check-in and selling raffle tickets. For more information please contact Darlene Seitz or Lisa Lux .

Holiday Fair (December 13-15) Volunteers are needed to purchase packaged candy and food donations (think post-Halloween discounts!) which we use to fill mugs and containers. We will also need volunteers during the fair to help students pick out items to buy, ring them up and restock merchandise. If you have any items you would like to donate to sell, or if you have any questions, please contact Dory Hayes .
Meet Children’s Author Chris Grabenstein at the Ferguson Library

Saturday, November 18th from 2:00 - 3:00 pm
