Mum Sale - Welcome Coffee - 7 Day Rotation Schedule - and More!

What's Happening This Week:

Monday is Labor Day. Stamford Public Schools are CLOSED.

Tuesday is the first day of the Fall Mum Sale . Get your home ready for Autumn while supporting our school. Download an order form and return it to school with your payment by Monday, September 18.

Friday is the Welcome Coffee for Stillmeadow Parents at 8:15 am in the media center. This is a great opportunity to meet other Stillmeadow Parents, chat with Principal Asaro, and learn about volunteer opportunities.

7 Day Rotation Schedule

Stillmeadow has adopted a seven day rotation for art, media, music, and physical education classes. To help you keep track of what day it is in the rotation, we've added a chart to the PFO website. You may also download the seven day rotation schedule for September in calendar form by clicking here .

Special Thanks To...

...The many kindergarten families that turned out for our Kindergarten Play Date on Tuesday, August 29. Despite the cloudy weather, a good time was had by all!

...The fifth graders who came to school a day early to serve as student ambassadors for Kindergarten Orientation.

...Everyone who donated beverages, baked goods and fresh fruit for the Staff Welcome Luncheon on Wednesday, August 30. Thanks, also, to those who donated their time to help us set up and clean up.

A Look Ahead to the Week of September 10

Monday, September 11 : Stop&Shop A+ School Rewards Enrollment Begins. Make sure to register your Stop&Shop Bonus Card to earn money for Stillmeadow.

Thursday, September 14 : Open House for all grade levels. Please note the times for each grade level:

5:30 pm: Special Ed Teachers Available
6:00 pm: Kindergarten and Fifth Grade
6:45 pm: First Grade and Third Grade
7:30 pm: Second Grade and Fourth Grade

Get Involved in Our Organization

The PFO needs your help! Whether you have two hours to spare or can make a long-term commitment, there are plenty of ways to contribute to the PFO.

We are currently seeking individuals to join our Board or chair events. If you are interested in serving on the board or chairing an event, please complete this form and return it to school in your child's home folder.

Short-term volunteer opportunities will be listed on our website and publicized via email as they become available throughout the school year.
