Underweight Women at Greater Risk for Early Menopause
A recent study lead by our Director of Research and Evaluation, Kathleen Szegda, suggests that underweight women are at a greater risk of early menopause. The study found that those who were underweight in younger adulthood were 30 percent more likely to go through early menopause, compared to normal-weight women.
