To Whom It May Concern:

I hope this letter finds you well. I am writing you today to request your assistance in a Thanksgiving initiative I am spearheading to feed 40 disadvantaged youth, ages 16-20 at the Turning Point Center in Brooklyn, NY on Thursday November 25th.

A chef and owner of Designs by Sweet P, I felt compelled this holiday season to use my talents to offer children at the Turning Point Center a home cooked Thanksgiving meal. As I started spreading the word about this initiative, I have received a tremendous outpouring of support from other chefs in NYC, along with a host of friends from many different industries.

On Thursday, November 25th during the hours of 10-3pm, with Chefs Jourdan-Cha'Taun, Ashley Allison and Donna Jaye and some of my closest friends, we will provide a full Thanksgiving meal, donated clothes, games and canned goods while speaking to the children who have come from abusive homes, suffered substance abuse and homelessness and affected by HIV about the importance of education, setting goals for themselves and more.

We kindly ask your support in making this the best holiday these kids could have hoped for by donating any of the items we have listed on the below list. Your assistance would be greatly appreciated.

All donations are tax deductible:

Company Name: Turning Point, 5220 4th Ave, New York NY 11220

Tax ID #: 190334

If you would like to donate money, you can send directly to my pay pal account at idean@hinewyork.org. You will receive a confirmation of your donation.
