Jules' Gems

How do you spell E D U C A T I O N ?? We have a few initiatives to help out!
Next generation of employees knocking down your
door? Not likely. PPI along with the support of it's Educational Trust is ramping up BIG TIME outreach to high schools and technical trade programs to educate their instructors and administration about the amazing opportunities within the regional Print and Graphic/Visual Communication industry. Our list is growing fast -- job fairs, career days, speaking opportunities, mentoring, job shadows, internships and placements in Oregon and Washington... and we're ready to expand. BUT we need your help. HOW? You could: host a career day that we can help coordinate, join PPI at a career fair to speak with teachers and students about the possibilities in print, host a student for a job shadow, or partner in an internship program. Let us know about your community involvement in your area and we'll work to create a pipeline. BUT WE NEED YOU! Contact myself or Kim Valetski today.

I challenge you to get your education ON this quarter. As issues related to technology, legislation and generations stay fluid, so too should your influx of information and alternative perspectives. This can be accomplished through education and peering outside your normal walls. We are thrilled to have a number of educational opportunities on our events page, through partners and the ilearning center. There are lots of free and discounted opportunities available... start today!
