A Note from the Executive Director
Thanks to all of you, PPIE has had a great year. We developed Collaborative Guidelines with all our PTA/PTSA/PFCs to guide our working relationship and address donor confusion.  We launched our community pivot to change the way PPIE works with and responds to school site requests for needed staffing - specifically for 2 extra hours of library assistant or site tech specialist at our schools.  And, once again, we contributed over $500,000 to all the schools in our wonderful district - please see below.  We are also thrilled to announce two new PPIE Board members: Viji Manickam, who is also founder of PICD, and Robin Dias, President of the PTA Council.  Thank you again for a wonderful year.  Have a great summer and we will see you in August looking to expand our staffing support for ALL our schools!

PPIE In the Schools
Hart Art Club President Nivita Susendran was awarded an Innovative Student Grant in order to bring art to Tri-Valley Haven, a local nonprofit that supports adults and children that have suffered dometic abuse.  "All students from the Art Club helped with designing different charms, contributing languages, and painting the canvas of a dreamcatcher.  We wanted to make a symbol of hope and encourage people to keep dreaming big," Susendran wrote in her artist's statement.  The students also decorated and donated art kits to residents of Tri-Valley Haven.

Have a great summer!

Sincerely,

Steve McCoy-Thompson, Executive Director
