October 2015 Newsletter With the Canadian elections just behind us and the US elections around the corner, we all have reasons to look optimistically toward the future. Even if the poll results don't meet your expectations, be assured that there are still leaders on the ground fighting for planetary and social health, inspiring millions, and carving out a better existence for all of us. But that does not mean that the rest of us should passively sit on the sidelines and watch the parade go by. I am a firm believer that if we each prioritize our own personal health (and I mean really prioritize) in an effort to experience our greatest vitality, we will be happier and thus catalyze positive change in the world. If you need any assistance with your personal health quest, try visiting a natural health practitioner, reading a good food book, or immersing yourself in a program of study that will not only help you achieve your optimal health but also to be a steward of health for others. If you are in Victoria, stop by our downtown campus and we can help you with all three! If you are not, there are bound to be valuable resources right where you live. As Gandhi said, "Be the change you wish to see in the world." Thanks for caring and enjoy the newsletter! Todd N. Howard President

Pioneering Scholarship Initiative
PRC has launched what we believe to be a pioneering scholarship program. Your Best Interest (YBI) is a pay-it-forward type of initiative in which the interest fees that students incur and pay as a result of delayed tuition payments are converted into a scholarship fund that is available to all PRC diploma students. YBI began accruing money this fall semester. The money will be collated on an annual basis from September 1-August 31 and then awarded as a scholarship fund over the course of the following academic year. And, just in case this wasn't sweet enough, PRC will double the fund by matching all contributions dollar for dollar!
