2017 NABA Convention & Expo Brings Lineup of Daring Speakers and Leading Programs
NABA Event Brings Together Featured Speakers and Special Guest Appearances


New Orleans, LA  June 7 , 2017  -   The National Association of Black Accountants, Inc. (NABA) presents a fabulous line-up of featured speakers and guest appearances for the 2017 NABA National Convention & Expo, that started June 6 and ends June 10 in New Orleans, LA at the Hilton New Orleans Riverside.  Again this year, our attendees will be able to hear from leading voices in the accounting and finance industry as well as meet and network with top companies!

The Opening General Session kicks off the featured speakers and special guest appearances.  The Opening General Session will be held Wednesday, June 7 at 4 pm (CT) featuring  Kimberly N. Ellison-Taylor, CPA, CGMA, Chairman, Board of Directors, American Institute of CPAs and  Brett Biggs, Executive Vice President & Chief Financial Officer, Wal-Mart Stores, Inc.

Featured Speakers

Brett Biggs, Executive Vice President & Chief Financial Officer, Wal-Mart Stores, Inc.
Responsible for accounting and control, corporate strategy and development, business planning, internal auditing, and several other key areas of the company, Biggs will be keynoting NABA's Opening General Session on Wednesday, June 7.

Kimberly N. Ellison-Taylor, CPA, CGMA, Chairman, Board of Directors, American Institute of CPAs
AICPA's first black Chairman in its 128-year history as well as the youngest, only the fifth female, and one of a few chairs from business & industry, Ellison-Taylor will be keynoting NABA's Opening General Session on Wednesday, June 7.

An award-winning mentor, inventor, author, and entrepreneur, Mackie will be keynoting NABA's Celebration of Scholars Luncheon on Thursday, June 8.
