York, Pennsylvania, November 7, 2014 - Altland House Hospitality Group, one of the leading event-hospitality companies based in South Central Pennsylvania and Gulph Creek Hotels, a hotel management company based out of Wayne Pennsylvania, announced today that the Holiday Inn York Hotel and Conference Center on Loucks Road, which was purchased by both groups in August 2013, will undergo a multi-million dollar renovation to become the newest member of the Wyndham hotel group.
In January 2015, Wyndham Garden York (WGY), the 177-room and suites hotel will feature a number of notable upgrades, including redesigned bedrooms and baths, additional suites, flat-screen televisions, and renovated interior guestroom hallways. Highlights will include over 16,000 square feet of meeting space including the beautifully renovated Crystal Ballroom, which caters to weddings and social events. Over seven hundred-fifty guests can be seated comfortably in both the Crystal Ballroom and Ballroom of the Roses. The indoor and outdoor Garden Courtyards offer extra gathering space for private engagements making the newly renovated WGY the largest function space of any Wyndham Garden property world-wide.
All inside public areas are newly remodeled with complimentary WI-FI throughout. The fitness center features York Barbell equipment and equipped with the latest cardio machinery. An elevator has been installed to enhance guest experience. During renovations, local vendors and companies were used such as York Wallcoverings, Schaedler Yesco, and local contractors. The WGY is the only hotel in York, PA with both indoor (heated) and outdoor pool areas.
The onsite restaurant and lounge, Fenderz Grill & Pub, entices the senses with locally handcrafted beers and wines and is open daily for breakfast and dinner for both hotel guests and the community. Executive Chef, Matt Hamm, will be leading the food and beverage operation, and has over 10 years of creative culinary experience with the Altland House Hospitality Group. The WGY will be providing locally sourced snacks and food to welcome overnight guests.

Improved curb appeal throughout the property will be spruced up with a new parking lot surface, exterior lighting, and upgraded stone / stucco work.
