YMCA's Partnership for Youth and Family Area at Pride

The YMCA of Boulder Valley is an organization for all, and we are proud to work with Out Boulder to support the local LGBTQ community.

The Y & Out Boulder partnership began when we housed an Out Boulder teen dance in May, providing LGBTQ teens a safe, central place to have fun and enjoy a night with friends. Due to the success of that event (with over 100 youth in attendance), Out Boulder approached the Y on working together at their signature event, Pridefest. We are thrilled to be a sponsor of Boulder Pridefest this year, running the Youth and Family Area at the event.

At the Y, we work to strengthen the foundations of community, and our areas of focus are youth development, healthy living and social responsibility. We work to ensure that all people have access to our programs and services. "For all" is one of the bedrock ideas behind the YMCA. Our programs and facilities are here for everyone, and we want to make this community is a more united, respectful and accessible place to call home.
