There's less than one week until PRISMA 2015! As the festival draws nearer, we'd like to extend our heartfelt thanks to all of our volunteers, donors, and corporate partners. PRISMA would not be able to happen without them!

To kick off the 2015 festival, we'd like to invite you to our PRISMA Fundraiser at the Laughing Oyster on Sunday, June 14.

We also have an exciting offer to youth who are interested in attending PRISMA concerts--read on for more details!

If you're interested in volunteering with PRISMA, please get in touch with us! All our volunteers receive a PRISMA T-shirt and complimentary access to chamber concert(s) and master classes.

PRISMA Presents: The 3rd Annual Celebration of the Senses

5:30 pm | Wednesday, June 17 | Willingdon Beach

Join us for an evening of local music, art, food and a historical tribute to the 70th anniversary of the Dutch Liberation. This tribute, "Two Countries--One Spirit," will feature speeches by Dutch and Canadian dignitaries, a flight show, and, of course, live music by PRISMA's symphony orchestra, the Pacific Philharmonic. The HMCS Whitehorse will anchor nearby, and, during the Overture 1812 by Tchaikovsky, real cannons will be fired from the beach. Please bring your own reusable dishes/cutlery to the event as we are striving to be a Zero Waste event.

Laughing Oyster Fundraiser

On Sunday, June 14th, join us at the Laughing Oyster at 6pm for an evening of food, music and a silent auction to support PRISMA. Tickets can be purchased directly through the restaurant by calling (604) 483-9775.

TELUS Fibre for Good

PRISMA is very excited to be a part of TELUS's Fibre for Good Program!

For every new Optik TV subscriber TELUS receives on the Fibre Optic Network until November 15, 2015, they will donate $25 to participating non-profits in Powell River.

PRISMA's Historical Tribute

Did you participate in last weekend's event in commemoration of the Dutch Liberation? Are you looking forward to the historical tributes coming up next week at A Celebration of the Senses? PRISMA is producing a commemorative DVD with footage from both of these events, featuring local stories of involvement in the liberation. If you're interested in pre-ordering a DVD for $20, send us an email or pick up an order form from our office in the Town Centre Mall (across from Subway).
