GREED is a sneaky and strange bed-fellow!!!
Just when you think you DON'T have it, GREED reaches out and "pulls you back in it!"
ONLY God can "satisfy thy mouth with good things!!"
Psalm 103:5 (KJV)
5 Who satisfieth thy mouth with good things; so that thy youth is renewed like the eagle's.
Or "when is enough ENOUGH!!??"
Haggai 1:6 (KJV)
6 Ye have sown much, and bring in little; ye eat, but ye have not enough; ye drink, but ye are not filled with drink; ye clothe you, but there is none warm; and he that earneth wages earneth wages to put it into a bag with holes.
A beloved friend called me last week and during our conversation he HESITANTLY told me of the LARGE paycheck he had EARNED the previous week.
He HESITANTLY told me, as he further explained, "most people would get offended at how much I EARNED!"

18 For the scripture saith, Thou shalt not muzzle the ox that treadeth out the corn. And, The labourer is worthy of his reward.

THE LABOURER IS WORTHY OF HIS REWARD!"
When will WE ever come to the solemn KNOWLEDGE that God is the ultimate PAY-MASTER!!??
Psalm 75:6-7 (KJV)

7 But God is the judge: he putteth down one, and setteth up another.
Deuteronomy 8:18 (KJV)
18 But thou shalt remember the LORD thy God: for it is he that giveth thee power to get wealth, that he may establish his covenant which he sware unto thy fathers, as it is this day.

IT IS HE THAT GIVETH THEE POWER TO GET WEALTH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
AND, it is NOT money that "IS the ROOT all evil," BUT "the LOVE of money!!"
1 Timothy 6:10 (KJV)
10 For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.
To quote again from the prophet Haggai, but are WE guilty of:

p.r.n.: Abbreviation meaning "when necessary" (from the Latin "pro re nata", for an occasion that has arisen, as circumstances require, as needed).
Matthew 6:25-34 (KJV)
25 Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life more than meat, and the body than raiment?
26 Behold the fowls of the air: for they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feedeth them. Are ye not much better than they?
27 Which of you by taking thought can add one cubit unto his stature?
