Entries for the 2017 Parking Industry Awards are now open. There are six categories for the 2017 Parking Industry Awards:

* Parking Organisation of the Year

Parking Australia is pleased to release a 'sneak peak' of the OUTLOOK Conference 2017 Program, view the program here.

Session highlights include; keynote speaker session with Tané Hunter co-founder of Future Crunch, Curtin University's presentation on their Autonomous Vehicle and the process of integration into campus life along with specific sector based sessions that will focus on 'The Future is TODAY'.

Driverless Vehicles - Spare Tyres Are Extra! The Process of Bringing An Autonomous Vehicle Into Your Organisation

Parking Australia's Curtin University is the first university in Australia, and the third organisation to introduce an autonomous bus. The bus was purchased to support research at Curtin and it is an exciting project to be involved with. Procuring an autonomous vehicle and landing it in Australia is an interesting process. The many challenges from getting the vehicle out of the box through to it actually operating were overcome by staff in the Operations and Maintenance section of the university.
Their story may assist you if you are considering buying an autonomous vehicle. This will be a 40 minute presentation currently scheduled for Day 1 of OUTLOOK.

DELEGATE LED SESSIONS

The Delegate Led Sessions will address topics and activities that are programmed by the attendees. That's right - YOU will get to set the agenda and (if you like) run a session yourself.
You may like to workshop an idea, present some new concepts, or simply explore a topic that is a current focus for your organisation.

With the industry's best minds in the room, you will be able to guide the conversation to ensure you get all the insight you need, ask tough questions and test your latest thinking. Be prepared to meet new people and get involved with by planning the perfect session to meet YOUR needs. The agenda for the afternoon will be set by the participants suggesting ideas and voting for the things that you most want to hear about. During the afternoon there could be up to 15 sessions each 40 minutes each. Session format could include open forums, workshops, presentations, brainstorm sessions or any other format you suggest. This will be very relevant for all delegates and exhibitors as anyone is free to nominate a topic so come prepared. This will be one conference where all delegates and exhibitors will be staying to the very end!
