Celebrate Canada’s First Peoples on National Aboriginal Day
June 16, 2017

In honour of  National Aboriginal Day, the City of Edmonton and its partners will host a variety of activities between June 19-24, 2017, including pow wows, concerts, jigging, teachings and sampling Indigenous foods.

Due to the significance of the summer solstice, many generations of Indigenous Peoples have celebrated their culture and heritage on or near June 21. Which is now Canada’s National Aboriginal Day. All activities are free and the public is welcome to attend.
