February 8, 2018

The City of Edmonton is hosting a drop-in public meeting to present the preliminary design options for the 105 Avenue Streetscape (Columbia Avenue). Join the project team to share your thoughts on the design refresh which includes protected bike lanes and drainage upgrades.

   Date: Tuesday, February 13
   Time: 4 - 8 p.m. (drop-in)
Location: Iconoclast Coffee Shop, 11807 105 Avenue

105 Avenue is a key corridor in the revitalization of the Downtown north edge. Phase one of the streetscape improvements from 116 Street - 119 Street was completed in 2016 to help make 105 Avenue more accessible and pedestrian-friendly. The Phase two refresh will focus on 97 Street to 116 Street. Public input will help to inform the design and determine the needs for open space.

105 Avenue is a corridor that travels through mixed-use residential, educational, commercial and light industrial sites. The 105 Avenue Streetscape project will revitalize and improve the function and appearance of the street, balancing active modes of transportation and the needs of the community.
