Be our guest at Movies on the Square!  Grab your lawn chair and a blanket and come down to to watch this live-action retelling of Disney’s animated classic on a three-storey high movie screen.   Beauty and the Beast (2017) refashions our favourite characters from the ‘tale as old as time’ for a contemporary audience, staying true to the original music while updating the score with several new songs.

Arrive early to enjoy some family-friendly pre-movie entertainment, including dancing, roving characters, face painting, games, draws and activities. Snacks will be available for purchase at on-site concessions.

For those who are planning to bring your car downtown, the City Hall, Library and Canada Place parkades provide secure heated underground parking at great rates.  Parking is available in the City Hall Parkade, located at #1 Sir Winston Churchill Square, for $2 per hour from 5 p.m. to 1 a.m.  Parking at the Library Parkade, located at 10165-100 Street (with entrances at 99 Street and 100 Street), and the Canada Place Parkade, located at 9700 Jasper Avenue (entrance at 97 Street) will be available from 5 p.m. to 1 a.m. at a rate of $2.50 per half hour to a maximum of $10.
