PSCA 2015 Opener at Fontana Postponed
Due to the threat of inclement weather, the Pacific Street Car Association announced this weekend's Mickey Thompson Tires So-Cal Nationals at the Auto Club Dragway in Fontana, Calif., has been postponed. PSCA officials are working with the track and try to re-schedule the event.

"While we hate to pull the trigger early," said PSCA President Mel Roth, "we don't want racers and fans to make their way to Fontana and then have to turn around and leave if the weather hits."

The next event on the PSCA schedule is three weeks away as the series returns to Sin City for the MagnaFuel Las Vegas Nationals at The Strip at Las Vegas Motor Speedway March 20-22. After that, it's back to Auto Club Dragway at Auto Club Speedway May 1-3 for the PSCA/Chassisworks Spring Shootout. For more information on these and all PSCA events, visit PSCARacing.com.

This year's PSCA schedule also includes the MagnaFuel Rocky Mountain Summer Series with races Jun 13-14 (with Fun Ford), July 10-11 (with the Pennzoil ET Series), and Sept. 18-19 (with Street Wars and King Street). All races will be hosted at Bandimere Speedway near Denver.

Finally, the Street Car Super Nationals will again see two venues this season where shattered records are the norm and not the exception. Anarchy at the Arch II is scheduled for Aug. 27-29 at Gateway Motorsports Park near St. Louis and the big one, SCSN 11 at The Strip Nov. 18-22."

For fans attending the races or for those wanting to represent grassroots drag racing away from the track, the PSCA online store is hosting a special 10-day sale. Everything from shirts, hats, hoodies, DVDs, and more are priced to go. For all the bargains, click HERE!

About the Pacific Street Car Association
Heading into its 16th season, the Pacific Street Car Association, based in Las Vegas, has been a staple of West Coast drag racing since its inception. With six heads-up classes, four bracket classes, and two index classes, the PSCA provides some of the best racing in the country for both fans and racers. The PSCA season is capped off by its Street Car Super Nationals at The Strip at Las Vegas Motor Speedway, having just wrapped up its tenth year. Introduced in 2014 was the first SCSN event outside of Las Vegas, Anarchy at the Arch at Gateway Motorsports Park near St. Louis. This event produced the fastest- and quickest-ever doorslammer pass in drag racing history.
