Certification of Stanwood Comprehensive Plan

The board recommended certification of the comprehensive plan update for Stanwood.  Previously, Stanwood's plan had been conditionally certified due to differences between land use capacity and the plan's housing growth targets. The city worked with Snohomish County to adjust the targets and has adopted the amended plan. PSRC reviewed the plan and found it conforms to the Growth Management Act and is consistent with regional plans and policies.

Regional Open Space Conservation Plan Update

The plan will help implement open space policies in VISION 2040 and identify ways the region can accelerate conservation of open space.
