Cuyahoga Community College Public Safety Training Institute is sponsoring the APCO PST1 Agency Instructor Training.
APCO's Agency Instructor Course offers agencies the chance to train staff members to serve as informative and effective instructors. Agency Instructors are able to teach various APCO courses to others in the PSAP. Having Agency Instructors allows for a significant reduction in new-hire and in-service training and travel.
PREREQUISITES
All Instructor candidates must have successfully completed the student course Public Safety Telecommunicator (PST1)-7th edition, or have successfully completed the update for PST1-6th edition. All candidates for this class must have a minimum of one year's experience in a public safety answering point (PSAP), telematics call center or 3-1-1 call center.
