Volunteer Opportunities

Physiotherapy Alberta is looking for members in the Calgary area to volunteer at the 2017 Garden Show to discuss physiotherapy and share their knowledge. If you are interested, please contact Leanne at lloranger@physiotherapyalberta.ca.

Physiotherapy Alberta is developing a new Jurisprudence Module based on the 2017 Standards of Practice and needs 20 members to pilot test jurisprudence questions. The purpose of pilot testing the questions is to determine how they perform and to improve the quality of the questions before the module is built and finalized. The Alberta Health Services Chronic Pain Centre Physiotherapy Tele-consult Service is now open to public/private physiotherapists in the Central, Calgary & South Zones. The aim is to provide confidential support to physiotherapists by physiotherapists experienced in working with the chronic pain population. This initiative aims to enhance the knowledge of existing services and help optimize physiotherapy service delivery. Click here for more information.
