The purpose of the Trainer’s EDGE course is to provide and help develop the platform skills of a trainer. The course uses contemporary training techniques and emphasizes the importance of experiential learning, or "learning by doing." Only practice can polish these skills, but this course is intended to “train the trainer” while offering hands-on experience.

We are offering the American Red Cross Wilderness and Remote First Aid Course. It has been developed in conjunction with the BSA and is based on the 2010 BSA Wilderness First Aid Curriculum and Doctrine Guidelines. This is THE course for those who work, live, or play in remote areas, away from the usual EMS service.
CUBMASTER AND ASSISTANT CUBMASTER POSITION-SPECIFIC TRAINING

This is the required position specific training for Cubmasters and Assistant Cubmasters. This will be a fun-filled training that not only covers the required course material but gives resources and examples for program planning. Meeting leaders in person and hearing from others is one of the best parts of training!

This is the all-districts event where pack competition winners compete against other winners. Pinewood Derby Race and Design Rules are available for review and distribution to pack derby winners. Up to 36 Cub Scouts per pack may be entered.

This is a six night Ely unit canoe trip for up to eight participants using lightweight canoes. If your Troop or Crew has an adult leader and Scouts interested in a canoe adventure this summer, this is an opportunity to fill their wish. Roger Lindquist is offering this crew reservation and assistance to organizing members to take advantage of the available reservation.
