Look forward to an  evening recognizing the stand-out performance of part-time MBA students. The SMITHYS, an annual  PTMBAA  leadership awards and fundraising celebration, will give part-time students whose contributions have made an impact on the Smith community the spotlight.

The first awards banquet was initiated by Dr. William Bradford in 1994 in an effort to support under-represented members of the student body. Over the years, the event has grown to be a signature Robert H. Smith event.

Be Impactful -  Sign Up to Volunteer for the Smith Day of Service
Give back to the community with fellow Terps as you help an organization that plays a critical role in the DC area to help people in need.  

Where: A Wider Circle (the organization provides furniture and basic home necessities for people overcoming homelessness) 

What: As a volunteer, you'll sort through donations, restock the showroom, and assist clients in selecting items to take home with them. 

When: Friday, April 28th @ 1 p.m. 

Afterwards, join us for a planned happy hour at Denizens Brewery Co. in Silver Spring.
