Come help us clean up the Anacostia River! the
Anacostia Watershed Society is a local non-profit dedicated to making the Anacostia swimmable and fishable by 2025. Its annual
Earth Day Cleanup Event brings volunteers to 31 locations in the river's watershed (PG and Montgomery Counties, and DC) to clean up the neighborhoods, parks and streams that filter into the river.
A complimentary lunch and celebration follow the cleanup event at RFK stadium.
